Play Crazy Double Tower Climbing Frame Installation
The Double Tower climbing frame from Play Crazy is an impressive playset with plenty of accessories and activities to keep little ones amused for hours. The Double Tower with swing beam is an expansive climbing frame designed with larger gardens in mind. Single Tower playsets are also available from Play Crazy for smaller gardens plus triple towers can be purchased for those who are lucky enough to have lots of garden space.
Play Crazy outdoor climbing frames are engineered from strong wooden timbers making the play forts extremely robust and suitable for older children also. The Double Tower playset can be concreted into the ground when it is installed in your garden and this will increase the stability of the whole frame making it safe to play on.
Play Crazy climbing frames are more robust than some other outdoor play frames on the market plus the fact that they can be dug into the ground and not just stand on top of grass or a safety surface makes them more stable also.
Although Play Crazy frames are designed with self-assembly in mind, they can be time consuming and will require atleast two people to complete the installation. You may prefer to have your playset installed by our professional climbing frame builders who have years of experience in assembling children’s play frames quickly and safely. The Double Tower climbing frame is of modular design and therefore can be tailored to suit your family. The Climbing frame pictured here features two spacious play forts joined by a wooden bridge, as well as a swing set, a slide, a rockwall, a climbing net, a fireman’s pole, an upper and lower playhouse as well as a picnic bench and more.
The first play tower of the Double Tower includes a spacious play deck with plenty of room for several children to play at once which is railed around the edge. The railings allow kids to see out across the garden but are also designed to help keep little ones safe from tumbles. The play fort is covered by a wooden roof which shelters the play deck too. Beneath the play deck there is a wooden picnic table with a bench either side for children to sit at. Children can use the rockwall at the back of the first play tower to climb to the play deck. The rockwall is a very popular but challenging accessory as it requires coordination and good climbing skills. The picnic area is nicely sheltered by the play deck and therefore is a handy place for kids to sit and have lunch, snacks or drinks between play but also for games, arts and crafts and so on.
The first play fort also includes a slide at the front and a fireman’s pole to the side as ways for children to exit the play deck. Kids can whizz down the slide or use the pole to get down from the play deck, but they can also run between the play decks of the two towers using the wooden bridge in the middle. The bridge is enclosed either side with safety netting to keep children safe while playing.
The second play tower features two enclosed play houses. One that is raised at the same level as the opposite tower’s play deck plus a play cabin underneath also. The raised playhouse is enclosed around the outside keeping little ones safe, plus it features a wooden roof as well which shelters the playhouse.
Children can climb to the play cabin using either the step ladder at the front of the play frame, or the climbing net at the back of the play fort. The step ladder provides a less challenging climb to the playhouse whereas the climbing net is a great accessory for younger children to grow into or develop their confidence on. The lower play cabin is partially enclosed with a gap around the top so little ones can see out but parents can also see inside to supervise while kids are playing.
The second play tower protrudes the swing set which makes the climbing frame one long line. The swing set can be attached to make the play frame a right angle shape and so on to suit the shape of your garden. The swing beam features two plastic swing seats as well as a trapeze bar however there are plenty of different swing seats to choose from to add to your playset.
