The Ridgeview Deluxe is a fun-filled climbing frame, packed with activities and cleverly designed to suit small to medium sized gardens even though it includes a wide range of accessories.
The Ridgeview Deluxe playset features a wooden play fort which is covered by a solid wooden roof, has a play deck for kids to climb to and an enclosed lower playhouse. The spacious play deck allows several children to play at once and it is sheltered by the wooden roof which keeps the play fort out of wind and rain and also out of direct sunlight on hot days so kids can happily play and stay cool.
The play deck is enclosed by wooden railings and walls to ensure children are safe while playing inside, plus it even includes a window with a flower 
box for children to grow their own flowers in and a chalk board on the back wall of the play fort. Kids can climb to the play deck using either the monkey bars at the back of the play tower or the rockwall ladder at the front of the climbing frame.
Monkey bars provide the Ridgeview Deluxe climbing frame with a more challenging activity to keep older children interested. Monkey bars will test children’s strength and coordination, therefore are a more challenging way for kids to reach the play deck. The rockwall ladder at the front of the play frame is designed to cater to different climbing abilities as it provides kids with two ways of reaching the play deck in one. The rockwall hand and foot grips can be used on their own like a rockwall if children wish to test their climbing skills, whereas the step ladder part presents an easier climb for younger children or less confident climbers to reach the play deck safely.
At the front of the play fort there is a wavy slide which provides little ones with an exciting way to exit the play deck. The wavy slide has added fun factor as the wave in the middle will speed up the ride down. Wavy slides are a popular climbing frame accessory and can keep children amused for hours.
Underneath the play deck there is an enclosed wooden play cabin which children will love turning into their very own secret play den. The enclosed playhouse is sheltered by the play deck and gives children a fun play cabin to play in whatever the weather. The lower playhouse is spacious and even has room to store some other outdoor toys in. The playhouse features an opening at the back of the climbing frame for children to go in and out of and it also includes window hatch/ picnic bar at the side. The window hatch also acts as a picnic bar or serving hatch as there are picnic stools for children to sit at on the outside of the playhouse. The picnic bar also includes its very own tarpaulin canopy and is a handy place for children to rest between play or have a drink and a snack.
To the side of the play fort is the swing set which is at a right angle to the monkey bar module at the back of the playset. This design is a great way of saving space in gardens but the Ridgeview Deluxe can still include a wide range of fun activities to prevent boredom. The swing set includes two flexible belt swings as well as a two seater glider swing. The flexible belt swings are a great design for keeping children safely balanced on the swing as the belt flexes around children’s hips. The two seater glider swing encourages little ones to play together and learn to work as a pair.
Climbing frames from Selwood are designed to stand on top of the ground and are not suitable for being dug in and concreted like some play frames from other manufacturers are designed to do. Therefore climbing frames from Selwood do need to be installed on a flat area of grass or an even safety surface to ensure they are stable and safe for kids to play on.
