Our certified team of climbing frame installers are the leading playset builders across England and Wales with many years’ experience in erecting play frames from Selwood and other climbing frame brands.

Our experienced playset builders at Climbing Frame Installer specialise in providing a professional but affordable installation service so you can be sure that your climbing frame has been correctly and safely installed. Although Selwood playsets are designed with self-assembly taken into account, we understand that not everybody has the time or is confident enough to build a DIY playset.

Climbing Frame Erection TeamThe Selwood Skyfort climbing frame is manufactured from cedar wood which is used to engineer all of Selwood’s wooden play frames. The wood is smoothed down to ensure it is suitable for children’s climbing frame plus it is covered with a protective red stain to help prevent the wood from weathering and gives the play frames a longer lifespan. The protective stain also gives climbing frames from Selwood their characteristic rich orange colour which looks fantastic in any garden.

The Skyfort play frame is a jam packed playset with a lot of popular accessories included, meaning it requires a larger garden space. The Skyfort is towards the larger end of Selwood’s outdoor climbing frames and therefore is more suitable for medium to larger sized gardens.

The Skyfort includes a wooden play tower with an enclosed raised play house, a balcony box, a slide, a rockwall, climbingClimbing Frame Installer ladder, a swing set, picnic bench and monkey bars. There is a lot of activities crammed in to the Skyfort to keep kids active and amused, which is what makes it one of the most interesting of Selwood’s playsets.

The Skyfort play tower features a raised playhouse for children to climb to with a porch area at the front of the play fort plus an enclosed play house with a wooden roof which provides shelter and protection. The roof covers the playhouse which provides shelter from wind and rain in wet weather as well as shade in the summer so kids can stay cool while playing in the play fort.

To one side of the play fort on top of the swing beam is the balcony box which children can climb to from inside the playhouse. The balcony box is railed around the outside for safety reasons as it is the highest point of the climbing frame that children can climb to.

Climbing Frame InstallationThe swing beam beneath the balcony box features two flexible belt swings plus a two seater glider swing for kids to play on together and learn to work as a pair. The play fort includes a climbing ladder and a rockwall for children to climb to the playhouse and the play deck. The ladder provides an easier climb whereas the rockwall is more challenging so older children and more confident climbers can test themselves and develop strength and other skills on the rockwall while less confident climbers can get to the play deck safely using the climbing ladder.

Underneath the play deck there is a picnic bench sheltered by the play deck. The wooden picnic bench is a handy accessory and a great place for kids to rest between play, eat, play games and socialise.

The Skyfort climbing frame also features monkey bars on the opposite side of the play fort to the swing set. Monkey bars are a popular accessory plus are a brilliant way for children to practice their climbing and improve their strength and coordination skills. Lastly, the Skyfort also includes a flat pack wavy slide at the front of the playset which provides a fun way for kids to exit the upper play cabin.
