Selwood playsets are manufactured from cedar wood which is treated to preserve the wood and help get rid of any splinters in the wood. The wood is stained using a red stain which is designed to prevent the wood from weathering and it also provides Selwood play frames with their distinct rich copper colour.
The Hope climbing frame is new to Selwood Product’s range of children’s play equipment and it features a wooden play tower with a play cabin for children to climb to, plus a rockwall ladder, a slide and the popular monkey bar swing set combined. The swing set features a two seater glider plus two single flexible belt swings.
The Hope play frame is designed with small to medium sized gardens in mind, hence the space saving monkey bar swing beam module. This popular accessory is featured in quite a few Selwood climbing frames as it is a fantastic way to save space in your garden but also provides children with two activities in the space of one. The Hope climbing frame can be a great way of encouraging children to play outdoors, explore the garden and get plenty of exercise as well as having lots of fun. The Hope play frame includes a cedar wood play fort which features a raised play cabin for kids to climb to. The play deck is enclosed around the outside by solid walls and railings to ensure little ones stay safe. Children can still see out of the play cabin as the walls do not extend all the way up to the roof. The play cabin is spacious enough for several children to play together at once and it is sheltered by a solid wooden roof. The roof features sunburst detailing at the sides plus it is a great way of keeping the play deck sheltered and cool on hot sunny days.
Children can climb the rockwall ladder at the back of the playset to reach the play deck. The rockwall hand and foot grips of the rockwall ladder provide a challenging climb whereas the ladder steps can help less confident climbers build confidence and strength as they present a slightly easier climb. The rockwall ladder is designed to cater to different ages and abilities to ensure everyone can climb to the play cabin confidently and safely.
Underneath the play deck is room for a sandbox which can be a fantastic addition to your playset particularly if there are younger children in the family. Sandbox boards are already in place around the base of the play tower in the Hope climbing frame therefore a sandpit can be easily installed. If not, the space beneath the play deck can come in handy for lots of other things.
At the front of the climbing frame is the wavy slide which provides a fun way for children to exit the play deck. The wavy slide is a popular accessory and kids will love whizzing down the slide back to ground level. It is important that you have enough room at the bottom of your slide to ensure kids can land safely with no obstacles to get in the way.
At the side of the play fort is the very popular space saving monkey bar swing set combined.
