The ‘Spud’ Single Tower Climbing Frame and Bench from Play Crazy

Climbing frames from Play Crazy are strong and robust wooden play frames manufactured using a high quality timber with a natural look. Play CrazySpud Climbing Frame Play Crazy commercial grade playsets are sturdy and durable as well as being tested against commercial grade safety requirements. Play Crazy climbing frames are designed so that they can be sunken into the ground which means they can be concreted in which in turn maximises their stability.

As tower based climbing frames from Play Crazy can be concreted into the ground, they are extremely sturdy and secure so safe to play on. They can also cope with some gradient in your garden in the area they are installed as they can be dug in and made level upon installation, as opposed to climbing frames from Selwood, Jungle Gym and Dunster House for example which are designed to stand on top of the ground and therefore must be installed in a flat area.

The Spud single tower climbing frame from Play Crazy is a fun-filled playset loaded with exciting accessories to keep boredom at bay. The Spud play frame is designed with smaller gardens in mind but still features a range of fantastic accessories to ensure your garden is turned into a world of adventures for kids.

The Spud single tower playset includes a single play tower sheltered by a solid wooden roof with a spacious play deck for kids to climb to. The wooden play deck is railed around the outside to keep children safe and has ample room for a group of children to play at once. Little ones can climb to the play deck using either the rockwall at the side of the play fort or the step ladder at the front. The rockwall provides a more challenging climb for children to test their own climbing skills on while the aim of the step ladder is to cater for younger children and less confident climbers. The step ladder provides an easier climb so even younger ones can reach the play deck safely, and it also includes safety handles at the top so kids can pull themselves onto the play deck.

At the front of the Spud play tower is a wavy slide which offers an exciting ride down from the play deck. Kids will love whizzing down the slide and the wave in the middle makes for an even more exciting ride down to the bottom. It is important to make sure that there is an adequate area around the bottom of your slide for children to land safely. There should be enough space without anything in the way of children landing at the bottom of the slide as it could be dangerous if there were obstacles too close, and the same goes for other accessories around the climbing frame.

Beneath the play deck there is a wooden picnic bench which is sheltered making it a great place for kids to rest, socialise or have something to eat. The picnic bench allows kids to have a break between play, having drinks or snacks or a picnic with friends. This handy accessory gives kids an area to socialise as well as playing games and so on. To the side of the play fort in the Spud climbing frame is a swing beam which includes a tyre swing. The tyre seat is a fun twist on the normal plastic swing seat and kids will love sharing it.
