Installing the ‘Monmouth’ Climbing Frame from Action

Climbing frames from Action are designed to stand on top of grass or a safety surface as opposed to being sunken into the ground. Action play frames are similar to Selwood Products and Jungle Gym for example which are also designed to stand on top of a flat surface. As these playsets cannot be dug into the ground, they must be installed in a flat area of garden to ensure they are stable enough to play on.

Although Action climbing frames are manufactured with self-assembly in mind, our professional playset installers understand that not everyone has time to build their own climbing frame. If you wish to have your play frame professionally installed, contact our team today. Our experienced climbing frame installers will ensure your playset is built correctly and safe to play on.

The Action Monmouth playset is a fun-filled children’s climbing frame that would suit any small to

medium size garden. The Monmouth climbing frame features a great range of activities to keep kids amused which can be assembled in any arrangement to suit a long thin garden (as displayed in the picture) or even as a right angle for a square

garden. The Monmouth includes a wooden play tower with a railed play deck for children to climb to. The play tower featured in the Action Monmouth play frame is smaller than some other play forts included with climbing frames from other manufacturers however, the smaller play tower makes the Monmouth suitable for more compact gardens. The play deck is railed around the outside and covered by a wooden roof also. The roof provides some shelter in the play fort and will also create shade on a hot sunny day so kids can play and stay cool inside the play fort.

Kids can climb to the play deck using either the steps at the back of the playset, or the ladder at the side of the play fort, or the monkey bars to swing onto the play deck. The steps and climbing ladder provide

easier ways of reaching the play deck so less confident climbers and younger children can reach the play deck safely, while the monkey bars at the side of the play fort present a more challenging climb to the play deck. Monkey bars are a great accessory for older children or confident climbers as they provide children with a challenge and can also help kids develop strength and coordination skills. The Monmouth’s monkey bar module also features a climbing net for kids to test their climbing skills out on. There is also a full length climbing net at the side of the monkey bars for kids to test themselves on too.

To the opposite side of the play fort is the swing set. The Monmouth features two single wooden belt swings for children to play on, however one of these swing seats has been changed for a baby bucket swing in the climbing frame pictured to suit a family with younger children. A swing set is an iconic climbing frame accessory and is a popular activity that kids will love.

Lastly the Monmouth climbing frame features a wavy slide at the front of the play frame as a way for children to exit the play deck. Kids will love whizzing down the slide from the play deck and the wave in the middle makes this slide an even more exciting ride.

Climbing frames are a fantastic way for kids to stay healthy and active and can encourage children to spend more time outdoors. Garden playsets are a great investment for the summer for preventing boredom and providing lots of fun for your family.
