The Selwood Nevada Climbing Frame

The Nevada climbing frame is a beautiful, action packed children’s playset from Selwood Products. The Nevada features a wooden play fort with a playhouse, a tarpaulin roof, a slide, a rockwall ladder, swings, a lower play area which can be made into a den or a sandpit and a picnic bench.

Garden play frames are a brilliant way to keep children fit and healthy. They are a fantastic outdoor activity to keep kids on the move and can provide years of enjoyment for your family.

Climbing frames from Selwood are designed to sit on top of grass or a surface, as opposed to sunken in or concreted into the ground like playsets from other manufacturers, such as Play Crazy and NI Climbing Frames are.

If your garden does not have a particularly good covering of grass you may wish to think about installing a safety surface for your climbing frame. Speak to one of our climbing frame installers for advice on safety floorings.

Selwood climbing frames are engineered from cedar wood which is treated with a unique red stain to preserve the wood and protect the playset from weathering.

The Nevada climbing frame, new to Selwood’s range is similar to the Brightside playset and the Hartwell, also from Selwood. The Nevada play frame features a main wooden play fort covered by a tarpaulin roof with a smaller frame and picnic bench with a matching roof to one side of the main play tower.

This is similar to the Hartwell climbing frame which also includes a play tower and a picnic bench covered by a tarpaulin roof. The Hartwell play fort and picnic area is the same design as the Nevada playset, both include two matching tarpaulin rooves.

The main difference between the Nevada and the Hartwell climbing frames is that the Nevada includes a swing set and doesn’t feature monkey bars. The Hartwell playset doesn’t include a swing set but does have monkey bars for children to improve their strength and coordination skills on.

The Nevada play frame features a partially enclosed upper play house so children can see out and look over the garden from the play deck but are safe enough so not to have any tumbles.

The Nevada climbing frame is designed for medium to large sized gardens as the swing set requires space around it for kids to play safely plus the straight slide at the front of the play fort requires perimeter space also.

This beautiful children’s playset is similar to the Brightside climbing frame from Selwood. The Brightside is like a mixture of the Nevada play frame and the Hartwell, mentioned earlier in this blog.

The Brightside playset features a similar play fort to the Nevada and a swing set, however it includes monkey bars which the Nevada play frame does not include, but the Hartwell does. These three play frames are very similar in design but the Brightside is the larger play frame with more accessories and therefore is a fantastic choice if you are lucky enough to have a large enough garden.

The Brightside play frame also features a picnic bench where kids can have a rest between play, like the Nevada does.
