The Grandview Climbing Frame, Selwood Products

Children’s climbing frames are an excellent way to keep kids healthy and active, and they

can provide years of fun for the whole family.

The Grandview climbing frame from Selwood Products is constructed using specifically

engineered cedar wood. The wood is designed to make Selwood’s playsets sturdy and

strong, however it is relatively lightweight compared to some other manufacturer’s

playsets.

Wooden climbing frames like the Grandview can be installed on top of grass, or if your

garden space is not particularly green you may wish to look at safety flooring for your play

frame. Ask our team of climbing frame installers for advice on this.

Our professional climbing frame installers have years of experience in erecting children’s

playsets like the Grandview. Our team can offer advice on choosing playsets that are right

for your garden space and can also install safety floors too.

The Grandview playset from Selwood is a beautiful play frame that is packed with many fun

activities. It includes accessories such as a play fort, a swing set, a rockwall ladder and an

enclosed tube slide plus a picnic bench at the back of the play fort.

The Grandview climbing frame is similar to the Mountainview Resort playset (also from

Selwood Products), as they both feature an enclosed yellow tube slide at the side of the play

fort. The tube slide is the most eye catching accessory included with these two play frames

and it provides an exciting way for kids to exit the play deck. Also, if you have young children

and are concerned about safety with slides, the enclosed slide is much safer than a straight

slide as there are no open sides for kids to fall.

Both the Grandview and the Mountainview Resort feature a solid wooden roof on top of the

play fort. The roof provides some protection from wind and rain but also from direct

sunlight when children are playing in summer.

The Grandview climbing frame includes a well decorated play fort that would look fantastic

in any medium or large sized garden. This play frame is not as well suited to smaller gardens

as a considerable amount of space is required surrounding the tube slide and the swing set.

The play fort features an upper and lower playhouse with a rockwall ladder at the front

which children can climb to reach the play deck.

The back of the Grandview playset features a picnic bench along with a window/ serving

hatch in the back of the lower playhouse. This is a lovely accessory for when children want a

rest between play and it can also inspire fun games like cafes and restaurants or shopping.

If you are lucky enough to have a large garden, the Bayfield Retreat climbing frame from

Selwood can offer everything that the Grandview does and more! The Bayfield Retreat

includes a straight slide at the front of the playset, like the Mountainview Resort climbing

frame as well as an enclosed tube slide. The Bayfield Retreat features a rockwall ladder at

the back of the playframe as opposed to the front like the Grandview which children can use

to reach the upper playhouse.
