The manufactures are always going to try and earn money from selling set and it’s a big business. However with so many online climbing frame retailers and not so many display sites it’s hard to actually see what you’re going to buy. Many play sets have rock walls and it’s the small things like this where some manufactures use rock bits like professional climbing walls and others will use plastics.
These can be of the professional grade anti slip bricks you would find at climbing walls is rare to find and Plum products do use them but you will only get a pack 6 and they are small Maxplay supply larger rocks and so some customers have asked us to fit more on the walls to help their kids climb up. Climbing Frames do use them on their larger Backyard adventures ranges and use plastic ones on the smaller sets which are colour coded with other plastics on the set.
Rocks can be changed and is a very universal part to interchange and upgrade if you feel a need.
