Where to start?

When you purchase a play center, did you consider what it will be like when you get the box? The majority of playsets are completely flat packed; you will have to build everything, from doors to windows and from the roof to ladders.

The boxes that arrive are approx 6ft x 2ft x 1ft. The larger the sets the more box’s you will have delivered. Upon delivery its best to check that the box numbers match and you have the correct amount of boxes.

So You Have Your Box's

When you receive you climbing frame box open them and check your wood. damaged boxs are a reguler occurance. Check the straps around the outside, if they are broken often the wood would have have been moving around inside and this will cause the wood to split, cracks and problems with chips in the colouring. When the delivery company are moving your boxes make sure they are left on a flat surface and not left on a step with a gap in the middle or somewhere that water will be retained i.e. on a plastic covering or underlay or in a dip on your patio. This will cause the wood to bow and could make the set defective.

Unpack your box, check the wood and screws. These flat pack sets are made within the millimetre, the instructions are not often correct but you will have the number of bolts you have got. If you put a 2 1/4” bolt where you should have put a 2” bolt then it will make it almost impossible to complete the set. You might need to leave off washers or lock nuts to make the bolt reach which will then void your warranty and could make it very unsafe for your children. Using us will provide peace of mind, knowing  that we are professional competent and have built hundreds of sets in the past means you can let your children play safely and the climbing frame will last longer.
