Installing the Cedar Summit Clarington Resort Climbing Frame from Costco
The Clarington Resort play centre from Costco is a jam packed climbing frame with plenty of fun activities to keep little ones amused. Cedar Summit play frames from Costco have a similar appearance to climbing frames from Selwood Products as they are manufactured from cedar wood with the same colouring as Selwood playsets. The cedar wood is stained with a protective layer to keep the wood from rotting and ensure the play frames last for as long as possible.
The Clarington Resort play frame from Costco is designed with medium to large sized gardens in mind as is includes a wide range of space filling accessories including a straight slide as well as an enclosed tube slide, a swing set, large play fort and more.
The Clarington Resort features a spacious two level play fort with a wooden play deck for children to climb to. The play tower is covered by a solid wooden roof which helps keep the play fort dry and sheltered from direct sunlight too so kids can play happily on wet or hot sunny days. The spacious wooden play deck has ample room for several children to play together at once plus it is enclosed around the outside to create a safe raised playhouse for kids to climb to and play in. The upper playhouse includes windows at the front of the playset so children can see out across the garden and it also includes accessories such as a telescope and a steering wheel to inspire fun games.
Children can climb to the play deck using either the step ladder or the rockwall at the back of the climbing frame. The rockwall can be quite a challenging climb which will test children’s climbing ability and coordination skills, whereas the step ladder is designed to provide an easier climb for younger children and less confident climbers to reach the play deck safely. The step ladder also includes a hand rail at one slide to help children climb to the play deck safely and confidently.
The Clarington Resort play centre also features two slides, a straight slide at the front of the play frame and an enclosed tube slide at the side of the play tower. Both slides provide an exciting way for kids to exit the play deck and by having two separate slides, two children can get down from the play deck at the same time. The straight slide at the front of the playset is a fun way for children to exit the play deck and parents can supervise little ones the whole way down the slide. This slide is also a good alternative for children who do not like the enclosed slide. The tube slide to the side of the play tower is a brilliant additional accessory and it does not take up as much space in the garden as the straight slide. Enclosed tube slides are popular as they are safely enclosed so children can reach the bottom safely plus the twists and turns on the ride down make the tube slide even more exciting, which children will love!
Underneath the play deck of the Clarington Resort climbing frame, there is a second enclosed playhouse for children to play in. The lower play cabin also has enough room for a group of children to play in at once and it even includes a working door at the front of the play frame as well as windows at the back so there is plenty of light entering the lower play cabin. The lower playhouse also includes a large window hatch at the front of the play centre which can be used as a picnic bar too. The window features a chalk board to one side of it which kids can get creative on, and there is also a picnic bench on the outside of the play cabin so the window hatch can be used as a picnic bar. The picnic bar even includes its very own tarpaulin canopy.
Lastly, the Clarington Resort features a swing set on the opposite side of the play tower to the tube slide. The swing set includes a trapeze bar, a baby bucket swing for smaller children and a flexible belt swing. The trapeze bar is a great way for children to experiment with balance and develop their strength while the flexible belt swing is safely designed to grip children’s hips and help them stay on the swing seat.
