The ‘Mansion Bridge’ Climbing Frame from Jungle Gym Backyard Playgrounds
The Mansion Bridge climbing frame is one of the largest and most action packed play frames in the Jungle Gym range. The Mansion Bridge playset is designed with medium to large sized gardens in mind and will keep the kids entertained for hours. The Mansion Bridge is very similar to the Mansion Climb X’tra climbing frame also from Jungle Gym. The Mansion Climb X’tra is a slightly smaller alternative play frame, without the bridge module, for if your garden is not spacious enough for the Mansion Bridge playset.
Climbing frames are a fantastic way to keep children amused and fit and active at the same time. Garden play equipment such as wooden play frames are great for encouraging kids to play outdoors and especially make the most of the garden at this time of year. Climbing frames are a brilliant form of exercise for kids whilst providing hours of fun at the same time for the whole family. An outdoor play frame can also come in very handy to prevent boredom during the long summer holidays, when friends come round to play or even at kids parties.
The Mansion Bridge climbing frame from Jungle Gym features two wooden play forts joined by a wooden bridge for children to climb across from one play deck to another. This fun-filled play frame also features two rockwalls, a step ladder, climbing wall with climbing rope, a slide and even space for a sandbox.
The main play tower features a roofed and railed wooden play deck for kids to climb to plus a railed lookout box too. The main play deck and lookout box are enclosed by chunky wooden railings to keep children safe while playing in the play fort. The main play deck is covered by a solid wooden roof to provide some shelter in the play tower and the roof will also shade the play deck on hot sunny days. The lookout box increase the size of the play deck so more children can play in the play tower at once. The lookout area is also railed around the outside but it is open-topped so children can see out across the garden and pretend they have their own playhouse plus balcony.
At the back of the main play fort is a rockwall plus a step ladder which children can use to reach the play deck. The rockwall presents a more challenging climb for confident climbers to test their skills on whilst the step ladder offers an alternative route for less confident climbers to reach the play deck safely. The Jungle Gym play forts do also include safety features such as handles at the top of their climbing walls, slides and so on as well as bumper pads to prevent any bumps and scrapes.
The bright yellow wavy slide at the front of the play frame provides an exciting way for children to whizz down from the play deck. Slides are very popular with kids and are an iconic part of a children’s playset. This wavy slide provides an extra fun ride down from the play deck as the wave in the middle of the slide speeds things up a little.
Underneath the play deck is the perfect spot for a sandbox if there are younger ones in the family who are not quite old enough to climb yet especially. Sandboxes can be a great way to get even little ones involved in the play frame and playing outdoors too. This is a handy space for many other things as well should you choose not to install a sandbox.
The second smaller play fort is joined to the main play tower by a wooden foot bridge. The bridge has some flexibility in the wood and is sloped due to the difference in size of the two play forts. The bridge is surrounded by safety netting at the sides for children to hold onto when crossing the bridge. The second play fort features a climbing wall at the back with a rope for children to pull themselves up with, and a rockwall at the front of the play tower. The climbing wall at the back is the most challenging which children can build up to and develop their strength and coordination skills on. This smaller play fort includes a less spacious play deck at the top of the climbing wall and rockwall so children may have to take it in turns climbing to this play deck.
