The Cottage Climb X’tra playset from Jungle Gym is designed with medium to large sized gardens in mind, however Jungle Gym do cater for smaller gardens too with their more compact play frames. The Cottage Climb X’tra playset features a solid wooden roof with a spacious play deck for children to climb, a solid wooden roof, a wavy slide, step ladder, space for a sandbox as well as a swing beam and a climbing A-frame with cargo net and rockwall. The Cottage Climb X’tra will certainly keep boredom at bay and there are lots of activities to keep kids amused.

Although climbing frames from Jungle Gym are designed and prepared with self-assembly in mind you may still wish to have someone come and install your climbing frame for you. At Climbing Frame Installer, our experienced team understand that not everyone is confident with DIY or simply may not have the time to build a playset from scratch. Our certified playset installers provide a professional but affordable service to take the stress away from a DIY climbing frame. Our playset builders can ensure your climbing frame is installed correctly and safe to use. Not only do we have experience in assembling play frames from Jungle Gym, our team of climbing frame installers are available to install playsets from many popular manufacturers including Selwood Products, Costco, Action, Wickey, Dunster House, Plum Products, NI and Play Crazy to name a few.

The Cottage Climb X’tra climbing frame from Jungle Gym features a sturdy wooden play fort with ample room for several children to play and climb at once. The wooden play fort includes a raised play deck for children to climb to which is covered by a solid wooden roof and enclosed by chunky wooden railings to keep little ones safe while on the play deck. The roof offers shelter and protection from direct sunlight on hot summer’s days so kids can stay cool in the play fort. The play deck is spacious enough for a group of children to play in at once and can be reached using the step ladder at the back of the playset.

Underneath the play deck is space for a sandbox to be installed. Sandboxes can be a fantastic addition to a climbing frame, especially if you have younger children in the family and sandbox boards are already in place around the base of the play fort. However, the space beneath the play deck can come in handy for other things too if you do not wish to install a sandpit, for example for a seating area or even a storage area for other toys which would otherwise clutter the garden.

frame and the main play fort includes one swing seat which children can share. This is a great way for children to learn to share with their siblings or friends and besides there are plenty of other accessories to keep children amused while one is on the swing. At the end of the swing beam is the rockwall/ cargo net A- frame. The A-frame features a rockwall on one side and a cargo net on the other, with a small play deck in the middle so kids have something to climb to. The A-frame is the most challenging activity featured in the Cottage Climb X’tra play frame and is a brilliant accessory for keeping older ones challenged and interested. The rockwall presents quite a challenging climb which children can develop strength and balance on as well as coordination.

The Cottage Climb X’tra is definitely a fun-filled climbing frame from Jungle Gym and is a great way of encouraging children to play outdoors more and stay physically active. Children’s play frame can be a brilliant way of encouraging children to stay fit and healthy and spend more time in the garden.

Jungle Gym climbing frames are designed to sit on top of a grass or safety surface as opposed to being sunken into the ground like some play frames from other manufacturers. As Jungle Gym climbing frames have to sit on top of a surface, they need to be installed on a flat area of ground, as do playsets from Selwood which are also designed to stand on top of grass or a safety flooring.
