Selwood Woodchester Climbing Frame Install
The Woodchester climbing frame from Selwood’s Olympia playset series is an elegant looking climbing frame made from beautiful cedar wood. The Woodchester will suit any garden small, medium or large and is designed last for a number of years as the wood is treated with a rot-resistant attractive red stain.
The Woodchester playset consists of a sturdy main play tower with a 1.2m high wooden play deck. The upper play deck is railed around the outside to keep kids safe and is covered by a solid wooden roof which offers protection from wind, rain and direct sunlight. The upper playhouse also has a chalkboard inside which keeps children entertained for hours, providing a surface for them to create imaginative drawings on. Little ones can play happily in any weather inside the woodchester’s upper playhouse.
The top play platform is accessed by the slatted wooden rock wall at the back of the climbing frame whilst the wavy slide at the front of the playset makes for a fun, speedy exit. The slide provides an exciting ride down and has high side rails to keep little ones safe from tumbles.
Underneath the play deck is the perfect place for a sandpit which will encourage even small children to play. Simply place a tarpaulin down in the space marked out by the play tower and add sand. Young children are guaranteed to get hours of enjoyment from it.
The side of the play frame showcases the monkey bar/ swing beam combo which is a favourite with the kids. This feature gives little ones two activities in the space of one so you do not need a massive garden for this playset. Monkey bars are a very popular accessory as they provide the climbing frame with an activity for older children to enjoy and can help improve co-ordination and strength.
The monkey bar/ swing beam also holds three swings so a group of children can play together at once. The swing set includes two single flexible belt swings and a trapeze bar.
