We are often asked what to treat the climbing frame with to keep the wood in good condition. Generally the manufacturers say it doesn’t need anything for the first year but when we have seen play centers we have been asked to move it could be best to treat it straight away to cover up build scratches and drill holes.
We can offer the wood treatment service to families who have the same problem as the above has. Worn steps and decking and cracking wood. This wood will need sanding down and oil stain supplied. The wood is clearly suffering and in need of repair, if a child catches their finger it could cut it but if this is somewhere on the lower levels it could be worse.
