The Brightside climbing frame is a great way to keep the kids amused and outdoor playsets are also fantastic for helping children stay fit and active. Selwood play frames are manufactured from cedar wood which is specially treated with a protective red stain to help prevent the wood from weathering for as long as possible. The Brightside playset consists of a wooden play tower which features a play deck for children to climb to which stands 1.5m above the ground. The play deck has plenty of room for children to play in it plus the deck is railed around the outside to prevent accidents and keep little ones safe while playing in the fort. The play fort is covered by a tarpaulin roof which offers shelter from precipitation and direct sunlight when kids are playing inside the tower.
Children can climb to the play deck using either the monkey bars at the back of the climbing frame or the rockwall ladder at the front of the play fort. Monkey bars are a very popular climbing frame accessory which can keep children amused for hours on end. The monkey bars are great for helping kids develop their strength and coordination skills plus they are a challenging accessory for older children to stay interested in too.

The slide provides a way for little ones to exit the play tower and it even features high moulded sides at the top to encourage a safe ride down.
One side of the play fort features the swing beam which includes three swing seats. The Brightside originally includes with the swing beam a trapeze bar as well as two flexible belt swings however the Brightside in the picture features a baby bucket swing. Baby bucket swings can be purchased separately from most manufacturers if required for younger children in the family.
The opposite side of the play fort includes a picnic bar and stools on the lower part of the play tower. The picnic area provides children with a place to rest between play, have a drink or snack and it even inspired fun games. The picnic seats are a handy accessory which also provide this climbing frame with some character.
