The Clarington Resort climbing frame from Solowave is manufactured from beautiful cedar wood which has a unique deep orange colour, gained from the protective stain which is used to preserve the wood. Although the cedar wood is lightweight, the Clarington Resort is still a fun filled play frame for young children to get hours of play on.
The Cedar Summit Clarington Resort playset features a wide variety of accessories including a play deck for children to climb to, a picnic bar, swing set, an enclosed tube slide, a lower play cabin, step ladder and even a rockwall for children to develop their climbing skills on. The Clarington Resort climbing frame is designed with medium to large sized gardens in mind as it is relatively spacious and does include a three-position swing set.
Although the Solowave Clarington Resort does suit medium to large sized gardens better, it does include an enclosed tube slide which are great for saving space in the garden. Many play frames from Solowave and Selwood Products feature a tube slide which can help make a playset suitable for smaller gardens but kids still get all the fun of a slide. The enclosed tube slide is situated on one side of the play tower and it spirals around on itself to take up minimal space but provide an exciting ride down from the play deck. Tube slides are enclosed which makes them safe for even small children to enjoy as there is no risk of tumbles on the way down.
The main play tower included in the Cedar Summit Clarington Resort play centre features a wooden play deck for children to climb to using either the step ladder or the rockwall at the back of the play frame. The deck has enough space for several children to play together at once and it is sheltered by the wooden roof. The play deck is enclosed around the edges and the walls feature slatted windows for kids to look out of.
Beneath the playdeck is a lower play cabin which is also enclosed around the outside. The playhouse includes a fully working door at the front of the climbing frame for kids to go in and out of plus it features a picnic bar and bench at the front of the playset also. The picnic bar is a great place for kids to rest between play, for drinks and snacks and it can inspire children to play together with fun games such as shops and restaurants.
The swing set featured on the opposite side of the play tower to the enclosed tube slide includes threee swing positions. The Clarington Resort comes with two single belt swings as well as a trapeze bar but other swing seats can be purchased if you wish to add variety to your play frame.
The climbing frame featured here also includes a straight slide as well as an enclsoed tube slide. The wall where the straight slide sits would normally be enclosed as a railed wall but a second slide can be added if you have the space for it. The more accessories the better, and the great thing about including two slides in your play frame is that hopefully there wont be arguments about waiting to go down the slide.
