The Bourne play frame features a selection of fun activities which will keep kids amused for hours on end including a wooden play tower, two enclosed play houses, a slide, picnic stools, rockwall ladder, a swing set and even a chalk wall for children to get creative on.

Like all of Selwood’s climbing frames the Bourne is designed for self-assembly and comes complete with an instruction manual to make installation easier, however you may want to have someone professionally install your playset. Our team of experienced climbing frame

The Bourne climbing frame includes a wooden play tower. The play tower features a raised wooden play deck which children can climb to and it is enclosed around the outside to turn it into an upper play cabin and children are also safe from tumbles with enclosed sides to the play deck. The play deck is also covered by a solid wooden roof which offers shelter and creates shade so children can stay cool on sunny days. The upper play cabin does include windows so children can see out and light can get in, plus there is also a chalk wall inside the playhouse for children to practice writing and drawing on.

Children can climb to the upper playhouse using the rockwall ladder at the back of the playset which caters to different abilities. Confident climbers

can use just the rockwall grips to climb to the playhouse and challenge themselves on the way, while younger ones or less confident climbers can build confidence using the hand and foot grips as well as the ladder slats to reach the play house safely.

The slide at the front of the climbing frame provides a fun and exciting way for children to exit the play deck and slides are a very popular climbing frame accessory that kids love. Beneath the play deck is a second enclosed playhouse with ample space for a group of children to play in at once.

The lower play cabin makes a fun play den for kids to play in with access at the back and a window/serving hatch at the front of the play frame. The window also doubles up as a picnic bench as there are two stools on the outside of the play house for kids to sit on. These are handy for children to sit and have a drink or snack between play plus it can also inspire games such as cafes and restaurants or even shops or market stalls.

To the side of the play fort is the swing beam which includes a trapeze bar swing and two flexible belt swings for children to play on. A swing set is an iconic part of a children’s playset plus it provides hours of fun too! The flexible belt swings are designed to mould around children’s hips and keep them safely balanced on the swing too.
