Selwod Osborn Climbing Frame Installation
The Osborn Climbing Frame is a popular children’s playset from Selwood Product’s range. 
The Osborn is a compact climbing frame with various space saving accessories to ensure maximum play value in minimum space. The design of this fantastic play frame means that it is suitable for any garden space and is perfect for keeping boredom at bay for the whole family.
The Osborn play frame features a sturdy wooden play tower, complete with a spacious play deck for children to climb to which stands 4ft above the ground. The play deck is partially enclosed and railed around the edge to prevent little ones from tumbles and keep them safe but allow kids to see out of the play tower and wave to friends and family on the ground. The spacious play deck is sheltered by a solid wooden roof which keeps rain and direct sunlight from reaching the deck. Children can play inside the raised playhouse whatever the weather, keeping everyone happy all year round. The playhouse includes a chalkboard on the back wall giving children somewhere to practice their creative skills.
The Osborn climbing frame is similar to other play frames from Selwood such as the Myers climbing frame and the Penshurst climbing frame. Monkey bars are a predominant feature in these three playsets and is a popular activity, especially with slightly older children who like a challenge.
The play deck is accessed using either the slatted wooden rock wall ladder at the back of the climbing frame or swinging from the monkey bars. The rock wall ladder provides a way for younger children to climb to the playhouse with confidence but can also be more of a challenge for older children using just the hand and foot grips to climb.
The side of the Osborn climbing frame boasts the space saving monkey bar/ swing beam module. This feature is brilliant for saving garden space but also gives the Osborn play frame more variety which children will love. The swing beam includes two single swings and a trapeze bar. Selwood Products do offer a number of swing seats to choose from so you can best accommodate your children. For example, one single belt swing can be replaced for a baby bucket swing if you have young children.
The Osborn climbing frame also includes a straight slide at the front of the play tower which provides a fun ride down from the playhouse. The slide is designed to keep children safe on the way down as it consists of moulded high side rails.
There is a second play cabin which is fully enclosed underneath the raised play deck which provides a second play space that children will
love. The lower play cabin is a spacious sheltered play area which is perfect for a secret play den. There is a large window/serving hatch at the front of this play cabin which can inspire games such as shops and cafes. The serving hatch includes two stools giving children an area to rest between play.
