The Myers climbing frame from Selwood features a wide range of fun accessories to keep kids amused for hours and provide plenty of outdoor fun for the family. The Myers playset includes a wooden play fort with an upper and a lower playhouse for children to play in. The raised playhouse is situated on a wooden deck which stands approximately 1.5m above the ground and the lower play cabin is sheltered beneath the play deck. The wooden roof on top of the play tower ensures the raised play house is sheltered also.

The Myers playset from Selwood also includes a combined monkey bar swing module with a three position swing beam and monkey bars in one to save space in your garden as well as a rockwall ladder, a slide, a picnic bar and even a chalk board.

The Myers climbing frame is similar to s ome other play fram es featured in the Selwood range, including the Blaise climbing frame, the Sherborn, the Kinlet, the Croft, the Osborn and the Westbury. The Blaise climbing frame is the most similar to the Myers as it includes all of the same accessories, the only difference being is that the Blaise features a tarpaulin roof as opposed to a wooden roof like the Myers playset.

The play tower included with the Myers playset features the play deck for children to climb to which is enclosed around the edges to keep little ones safe while playing inside the fort, plus it also has the wooden roof which provides some shelter form precipitation etc. The Myers playset even includes a chalk board on the back wall of the upper play cabin, like many of the Selwood play frames have, to keep kids amused by practicing their writing and drawing.

The lower play cabin beneath the play deck features an open back wall and an opening at the front of the play frame for children to get in and out. The lower playhouse also has partially enclosed sides but not wooden they are tarpaulin. On one side of the lower play cabin is the picnic bar with two stools on the outside of the playhouse for children to sit on. The picnic bar is a handy accessory as it gives children an area to sit and have a drink or snack between play plus it can inspire games like cafes and restaurants too. The picnic bar has its own tarpaulin canopy just above the picnic stools which matches the sides of the playhouse. The green tarpaulin gives the Myers climbing frame a unique look compared to the all wooden climbing frames in the Selwood range and it provides this play frame with plenty of character.

Children can use either the rockwall ladder at the back of the climbing frame or the monkey bars to climb to the raised play deck. The rockwall ladder offers two activities in the space of one which can help save space in your garden and it also means the ladder is suited to different ages and abilities too. The rockwall grips used on their own to climb to the top can be a challenging climb which is great for testing confident climber’s strength and coordination, whereas the ladder steps enable this accessory to become suitable for younger children and less confident climbers too so everyone can reach the play deck safely.

The monkey bars/ swing beam on the opposite side of the play fort to the picnic seats are a fantastic climbing frame accessory which is very popular also as it can save quite a lot of space in your garden but still give children two activities to have fun on. The combined monkey bar swing module is featured in a fair amount of the Selwood climbing frames so if your children are particularly into monkey bars but you do not have a lot of space in your garden you can still get the best of both worlds.

Monkey bars are a great way for kids to build their confidence, strength and coordination skills as well as being a fun challenge and good way of climbing to the play deck.
