The Milford climbing frame from is relatively new to the Selwood collection of garden play frames, but like all Selwood climbing frames it is manufactured from beautiful cedar wood. Although cedar wood is not as heavyweight and robust as other types of timber that is used to engineer climbing frames from other manufacturers, it is still a high quality wood which is specially treated to reduce splinters and treated to preserve the wood for as long as possible. The wood is treated with a protective stain to ensure the climbing frames last outdoors for as long as possible, and the stain is what gives Selwood playsets their characteristic orange colour which looks fantastic in any garden.
The Milford climbing frame is designed with small to medium size gardens in mind as its jam packed layout includes a range of activities in a compact 
design. For example the combined monkey bar swing beam is a very popular feature for saving space in gardens but it provides kids with even more activities to keep them from getting bored.
The Milford features a wooden play fort with a platform for children to climb to and a solid wooden roof to offer shelter and protection for the play fort. The roof keeps the play deck sheltered from wind and rain but also offers protection from harsh sunlight and keeps the play fort cool on hot summer’s days.
Kids can climb to the play deck using the rockwall ladder at the back of the climbing frame. The rockwall ladder is a popular accessory within Selwood play frames as it caters for different climbing abilities. The rockwall hand and foot grips can be used on their own to give children a more challenging climb to the play deck, but the ladder steps make the climb slightly easier for younger children and less confident climbers have the ladder to build confidence on. The rockwall ladder also includes a rope for children to use to pull themselves up with.
The play deck is railed around the outside to keep little ones safe while playing but it also means that parents can easily supervise and children can see out when playing in the play tower. The play deck even includes its very own window box which children can use to grow something, and it also features a chalk wall which can help children practice their drawing and writing.
The Milford play frame includes an enclosed lower playhouse beneath the play deck which features an opening at the back of the play tower as a door and a large window hatch at the front. The enclosed playhouse makes a fun play den for children to play in whatever the weather and it is also spacious enough for several children to play in at once. The window hatch at the front of the playhouse acts as both a window and a serving hatch or picnic bar as there are two stools outside of the playhouse for kids to sit at. This makes a great place for kids to have a drink and snack or a rest between play
The Milford climbing frame also includes a slide at the front of the play tower as a way for children to exit the play deck. Slides are a very popular 
climbing frame accessory as they make an exciting way for kids to get down from the play deck and can provide hours of fun.
To the side of the play fort is the popular monkey bar swing beam combined to save space in your garden. The monkey bar swing set includes two flexible belt swings plus a trapeze bar for kids to practice their strength and balance on. The flexible belt swings are designed to grip children’s hips so they can sit safely on the swing.
