The ‘House Balcony’ playset from Jungle Gym is a fun filled although compact wooden climbing frame designed for small gardens so even with a little space, kids can have their very own adventure playground in the back garden.

The House Balcony climbing frame is one of the smaller play frames in the Jungle Gym range, but is ideal for anyone with a small garden or limited space for a playset. The House Balcony has just as much fun factor as larger climbing frames and includes popular accessories such as a wooden play fort with a play deck and balcony box, a slide, a climbing ladder and even space for a sandbox.

Jungle Gym climbing frames also include a number of specially designed safety features which help prevent bumps and scrapes and give children more confidence in climbing. Safety features include handles at the top of accessories including the ladder and the slide plus bumper pads at the top of the slide and on the roof to prevent and bumps when children are playing.

Climbing frames from Jungle Gym are manufactured using a light coloured but natural looking pine timber wood which blends into any garden well and is treated to maximise durability and ensure play frames from Jungle Gym can withstand weathering. The House Balcony climbing frame, like every other playset from Jungle Gym is designed to stand on top of the ground rather than be sunken into the floor like some play frames are designed to.

As Jungle Gym climbing frames must stand on top of grass or a safety flooring, they need to be installed in a flat area of your garden and cannot cope

with much gradient because the playset will become unstable and wobbly. Climbing frames which can be sunken into the ground can cope with more slope in a garden as they can be dug in to counteract any unevenness.

Jungle Gym playsets are engineered with self-assembly in mind, however many people feel better if they have someone to professionally install their play frame and ensure it is safe to use. Our experienced climbing frame installers can make sure your playset is correctly installed in no time.

The House Balcony climbing frame includes a wooden play tower with a spacious play deck with enough room for a group of children to play together at once. The play deck is enclosed around the sides by chunky wooden railings to keep little ones safe and is also sheltered by a wooden roof. The roof provides shade on a hot summer’s day so kids can stay cool in the play fort and it also keeps the play deck dry in wet weather. The railed balcony box to the side of the play deck is not covered by the roof but it makes more space for children to play and is a great place for kids to look over the garden and enjoy the view after they have climbed up there.

Children can climb to the play deck using the multi-coloured step ladder at the back of the playset and the wavy slide at the front provides a fun way to exit the play deck. The wavy slide is a popular climbing frame accessory and it is an exciting way for children to make their way down from the play deck. The slide is even moulded with higher edges to help keep little ones safely on track all the way to the bottom of the slide.

Lastly, beneath the play deck is a perfect space for a sandbox which is sheltered by the play deck meaning it will stay relatively dry and sheltered. A sandpit is a great addition to a children’s climbing frame, especially if there are younger children in the family.
