The ‘Cottage Train’ Climbing Frame from Jungle Gym Backyard Playgrounds

Jungle Gym Cottage Train Climbing FrameThe Cottage Train playset is similar to the Cubby Train and the Mansion Train play frames, also from Jungle Gym. Jungle Gym’s beautifully designed playsets are filled with exciting activities and even small accessories which give their climbing frames so much character. The safety features included in Jungle Gym play frames such as the bumper pads and hand grips ensure little ones can be safe playing and enjoy hours of fun too.

The Cottage Train features a sturdy wooden play fort with a spacious play deck for kids to climb to plus a solid wooden roof which shelters the play deck. The roof offers shelter but can also shade the play deck in hot weather. The play deck is enclosed by chunky wooden railings so kids are safe when playing in the play fort but they can also see out across the garden and enjoy the view.

The wooden step ladder at the back of the climbing frame can be used to access the play deck, or children can crawl through the tunnel part of the Cottage Train to get to the play deck. The long wavy slide at the front of the playset is a very popular activity and children can whizz down the slide to get down from the play deck. The safety handles t the top of the slide help children safely onto the slide and the bumper pad prevents bumps and scrapes. The Cubby Train and the Mansion Train climbing frames from Jungle Gym also include wavy slides as they are an iconic part of children’s play frames.

Underneath the play deck there is a space which can be perfect for a sandbox. A sandbox can be an ideal way of getting even young children in the Cottage Train Jungle Gym Climbing Frame family involved in the play centre and is a great way to keep little ones who are not quite ready for climbing amused too. The space underneath the play deck can also make a great storage area for other outdoor toys if you’re fed up of toys cluttering up your garden.

The tunnel to the side of the play fort is on the same level as the play deck and children can access the tunnel either from the play deck or using the climbing wall on the other side of the tunnel. The tunnel is an exciting feature to lots of the Jungle Gym climbing frames and is a great hiding place or safe spot for kids to relax in. The tunnel is sheltered and will be cool in summer away from direct sunlight making it the perfect addition to the Cottage Train climbing frame.

The climbing wall at the end of the tunnel includes wooden steps to help children climb and even features a chalk board at the top to get creative on. Underneath the tunnel there is a seating area with wooden benches, sheltered by the tunnel, where children can relax between play or even have a drink and a snack. The seating area is enclosed by chunky wooden railings like the play deck which helps creative the overall train look which is the aim in this playset. The additional accessories such as the wheels at the bottom of the play frame also add to its character and add a splash of colour.

Climbing frames are a brilliant outdoor activity to keep children amused and active too. Outdoor play frames are the perfect toy for summer and will prevent boredom in the long summer holidays too.
