Wooden play frames from Jungle Gym and some other climbing frame manufacturers, including Selwood Products and Plum Products, are designed to stand on top of grass or safety flooring as opposed to being dug into the ground. This means that the Jungle Gym playsets need to be installed on top of a flat area of ground to ensure they are stable enough.
The Chalet Balcony climbing frame features the spacious wooden play fort with a two-tier play deck. Children can climb to the play deck using the multi-colour step ladder at the front of the play frame. The higher part of the play deck is covered by the solid wooden roof which provides some shelter for the play deck and will also shade the play deck in hot weather. The lower part of the play deck is not underneath the roof and is an open topped railed lookout box. This half of the play deck is railed around the outside to keep kids safe but they can also see out across the garden. The lookout box features a telescope for children to play with too as a fun additional accessory.
The Chalet Balcony, like all of the Jungle Gym climbing frames includes special safety features to ensure children can play safely and climb confidently. The play fort features safety handles at the top of the step ladder and the slide for children to grab onto plus a bumper bad at the top of the slide to stop bumps and scrapes from the wood.
At the front of the playset is the long wavy slide which provides a way for children to exit the play deck. Slides are a popular climbing frame accessory and kids will love zooming down from the play deck. The slide is also moulded to give it edges which help keep little ones on track down the slide so they can reach the bottom safely. Make sure there is plenty of room at the bottom of your slide for kids to land and there is no obstacles for them to crash into. The safe play zone surrounding a climbing frame should be taken into account when measuring up your garden to purchase a children’s play frame.
To the side of the Chalet Balcony’s play fort is the swing set.
