The Meadowside Climbing Frame – New for 2014
The Meadowside is an extremely popular climbing frame, new to the Selwood Products 2014 range. The Meadowside playset is a newly updated version of the Meadowvale climbing frame from the 2013 range, with a couple of exciting changes that kids will love!
The tiny price difference between the new and more exciting Meadowside play frame and the Meadowvale from the previous year is not even noticeable. The difference between these two fantastic climbing frames is that the new Meadowside features a combined monkey bar swing set module rather than just a swing set on its own.
The Stunning Meadowside climbing frame includes all of the accessories that the Meadowvale does such as a swing set, play deck, tarpaulin roof, rock wall ladder, slide and a trapeze bar, although it does not include a cargo net which the Meadowvale does. However, the brilliant thing about the Meadowside is that it not only includes all of these activities but it also includes the ever popular monkey bars.
Monkey bars are particularly popular with slightly older children as they are a more challenging activity. Monkey bars are an amazing and very popular climbing frame accessory which can boost your little one’s confidence and help them to improve their coordination skills and strength. The Meadowside climbing frame is ideal for all the family including older children as well as very young children as there is a perfect spot for a sandpit.
As part of the Selwood Product’s 2014 range of children’s climbing frames, the Meadowside is manufactured from attractive premium cedar wood. The cedar wood is treated with a red stain to keep it rot-resistant, which is what makes Selwood play frames so eye-catching.
Both the Meadowvale design and the new Meadowside playset are relatively compact to fit as much play value into the wooden play frame as possible!

The Meadowside includes a spacious wooden playdeck for children to climb to using the slatted rock wall ladder at the front of the playset with multicoloured hand and foot grips. The high railed slide at the front of the climbing frame also, provides a fun way for children to get back to ground level from the play deck. The high sides of the slide make it even safer for kids to slide down and the risk of tumbles is reduced.
The playdeck is covered by a waterproof tarpaulin roof which offers some protection from rain and direct sunlight in the summer. The Meadowside includes a trapeze bar swing as well as swing set to the side of the play tower with two flexible belt swings. The swing set is combined with the monkey bars which saves space in your garden and allows those who don’t have a large garden to enjoy all the activities a larger playset would have.
