The first play tower in this particular set includes a spacious wooden play deck, 5ft from the ground for children to climb to. The play deck is accessed using either the chunky wooden step ladder at the front of the playset, or the second step ladder at the side of the tower. Both of these ladders include hand rails for children to hold onto and use to pull themselves onto the play deck safely. It is a good idea to include a step ladder as well as a rockwall or cargo net etc. in your climbing frame as they present a less challenging climb for younger children or less confident climbers.
The play deck of the first tower is railed around the outside to keep little ones safe from tumbles but enables them to still see out and enjoy the view of the garden. A railed play deck enables kids to be kept safe but they can still wave down to parents and friends below which is part of the fun! The first play tower in this climbing frame also features a solid wooden roof which offers some protection from rain and direct sunlight so children can play happily.
Underneath the wooden play deck is a partially enclosed lower playhouse, featuring windows for kids to look out of and a trap door at the side to enter and exit the play cabin. The cabin is sheltered from all weather as it is covered by the play deck above it and therefore can make the perfect secret play den for children to play in whatever the weather! This playhouse can be used all year round and is also an ideal place to store other toys as it is so spacious and will keep toys from cluttering up the garden or the house.
The play tower also includes a wavy fireman’s pole at the front of the playset and a straight fireman’s pole at the side. There is certainly plenty of variation here to keep little ones amused for hours on end!
The two sturdy wooden play towers are joined together by a wooden rope bridge which kids will love running across between the two play decks. The rope bridge is an excellent way for kids to stay excited about this play frame because it means they can use a different way to climb down and climb up each time. Younger children can feel confident climbing up the step ladder but can still reach the second play tower also without having to climb down again.
The second tower in this playset also features a wooden play deck with heaps of space for kids to play and is also railed around the outside to keep little ones as safe as possible. This climbing frame features one of each as one tower includes a roof and the second tower does not. The play deck of the second tower is reached by climbing the cargo net at the back of the climbing frame or using the rope bridge that joins the two towers together.
The side of the climbing frame boats the very popular wavy slide that kids will love sliding down. The wavy slide offers a little bit more excitement than a straight slide as it has a small bump in the middle. The slide includes high moulded sides to prevent tumbles on the way down the slide.
The front of the playset features a swing seat, in this case a baby bucket swing for young children.
