What happens if a brace is found to be broken? Once your playset has been built its important to check that its level. If it’s not level then the playset could put a lot of pressure on one point of the playset. This breakage could cause problems making your climbing frame unstable so when your children play it will become more unstable and start to twist the climbing frame. If the brace does break then the bolt could break leaving a shard of metal sticking out and if the wood splinters it could cause some serious injury to your children.

Make sure you check your climbing frame on a reguler basis, test the bolts and screws are tight and safe with nothing sticking out or becoming loose. This should be at least once a month or more in peak use or once the set has just been built and settling in. Check your set and stain it on an annual basis.
